Charters Towers Regional Council welcomes you to Tales of the Towers, our online collection from the Excelsior Library Archives, showcasing the history of the Charters Towers district; from the goldfields to the cattle stations, schools, businesses, and of course the people who have lived their stories here.

We invite members to contribute their own photos, memorabilia and stories to the collection, to help grow the collection and add to the Tales of the Towers.
