“Nell... ? - a well known music teacher in the period 1915-1920.

***response to this photo being posted on facebook - Richard Stevens advised that this is Nell Dickinson, who taught his younger sister piano at the corner of Peek & Hackett tce. She charged 3 shillings a class, and students would have to wait on the verandah for their class. She never married but had a brother who worked at the Venus Battery.
Full name: Ellen Dickinson who died 21/3/1972 aged 81, daughter of Sarah Ann Redhead and William Dickinson. PO Directory 1938 lists Sarah A Dickinson living 67 Hackett tce.DigitisedYesIdentifier2005153.1805
